My name is Shawn Esmaili and I am 16 years of age. I have been intrigued to help the ones in need since I visited orphanages for the first time a few years ago. I learned then that I should not take my family, my home, and all that I have for granted. That is why I developed this site, Youth Against Poverty. I want to reach out to youth, people my age, because many of them want to help and can help but they don’t know how to. My goal is to link you to reliable organizations and individuals that can help the disadvantaged to ensure that they have better lives and have a better chance of achieving their dream.
